Sketchbook Project

Here are some photographs of my entry for the Sketchbook Project. I deconstructed the Moleskin I was sent and rebound it, albeit somewhat clumsily, with some nice Rives BFK paper. My theme was "make mine a double", and my sketchbook features singles and doubles of various bears. I did the illustrations within the last few days, as per my usual procrastinating nature. They are done using watercolours, gouache, watercolour pencil, and ink.

Emma you are so talented. they look amazing in the pictures, I can't imagine how amazing they look in person. I hope all is well with you. I heard tid-bits of what you've been up to through Brian.

Emma these are phenomenal! I wish we'd talked about your artwork when we met in Toronto, and I sincerely wish I'd been at your presentation to appreciate its visual impact. Beautiful and critical!
