I am an illustrator and geographer from Montréal, Canada. I work mostly with watercolour, acrylic, and pen and ink. And since I get asked quite a bit, nothing is done digitally with the exception of scanning.
My inspiration is in constant flux. I am very inspired by anything in simple black and white, especially ink drawings and relief prints. I like the strong graphics and text elements found in classic posters of the 1930s and 1940s, especially propaganda posters. I also take inspiration from street art, music, literature, and film.
I am very passionate about the links between art and environment. I explore these intersections in my art and in my academic research.
Oh, and I love bears.
